Design bright road crossings in the area to bring colour and fun to everyone’s day. Promotes safety around surrounding local schools. Encourage local groups to get involved in the design and execution of the artwork.
Art in Gorbals area
An art project pedestrian crossing seems too risky. Self driving cars are trained on standard pedestrian crossings - zebras. Humans might be more flexible, but even they will be confused by stains on the road(as seen in the photos). Road markings are standard for a reason - to allow quick and unambiguous recognition.
