Walking football was established in 2014 being launched at the glasgow green football centre. The idea really took of and is now played all over scotland. There are now sessions for 50s60s70s and 80s for ladies and gentlemen. These sessions are fantastic to get our older generation out of their couches and be a part of something which is great for their fitness and mental health. Although the glasgow life sessions is a paid for activity, i would hope that the funding would see the sessions free
